Tillmann Braune is chair of openSky e.V. and an architect. A conversation about jazz, Wuppertal and 12 years of association history.

As co-founder and chair, Tillmann Braune has been committed to openSky e.V. since 2012. His goal is to anchor high-calibre jazz culture in the Bergisch region and build sustainable partnerships.

Thanks to his work, openSky cooperates closely with institutions such as the Pina Bausch Centre, Sparkasse Wuppertal and the cultural office. ‘Organising the Jazzmeeting is a learning curve that, after 12 years, is far from over’, says Braune in the interview.
